My Background

For as long as I can remember, I have been a seeker, wanting to find ways to nourish my soul, create abundant health and well being in my life. In my early 20's while working in the stressful world of fashion I discovered massage therapy. These experiences taught me the importance of self nurturance, and became the springboard to my understanding of the deep connection between the mind and body. it was that which led me to a career change in 1994 becoming a licensed medical massage therapist at the Swedish Institute in NYC. For 26 years I have had the immense joy of serving a diverse clientele ranging from infants and teens to elders. I love my work everyday.

My Approach

Honest self-exploration has always been a tremendous source of healing for me. Through my journey of self study and energetic healing work at the Im School of Healing Arts, my awareness of the subtle energy of the body grew and I began to work with the emotional, psychological and spiritual realms of bodywork. In 2012 I learned transcendental meditation which propelled me further into developing higher states of consciousness as well as  propelling me into the world of Ayurveda, the science of life. Ayurveda offers simple ways to help realign us with nature and the highest within ourselves through food, lifestyle and behavior. I am passionate about cooking.  In my kitchen classes, we prepare delicious food and learn how it can be used to balance and heal. It is my calling to share all that I have learned and continue to learn with others. I am here as a support to you on your personal journey, to discover new and exciting ways to create health and well-being in your own life.  I invite you to enjoy a healing session of bodywork, take a cooking class and learn some of the enlightening ways of Ayurveda. Come discover how much fun and easy it can be to create that radiant glow that can only come from within.
